Disclaimer: Lest anyone think we don’t believe in signs, miracle’s and healings – that is NOT true – but we refuse to have “faith in faith”, our faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ, he heals, he delivers, he fills with the Holy Ghost!
When you have done all… stand.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Standing for truth, standing for the Lord, is not always easy; it means there will be times when we will have to stand against false doctrines, false brethren and even those who have gone as far as to become false prophets and false teachers.
Prophets or teachers who knowingly or unknowingly teach doctrines that are unbiblical, must be corrected, and since we love these people that are speaking these unbiblical doctrines, it may fall upon us to correct them, and that is not always received, and we take the risk of offending a brother or sister.
False doctrine, however, is divisive, damaging and ultimately can destroy a church or Apostolic organization. It affects not just the people who believe the satanic lies but also those whom they teach and influence, so not addressing this issue is paramount to agreeing with these false doctrines, therefore silence is not option.
The Apostle Peter addresses this and devotes a whole chapter to the fleshly, manipulating false prophet.
Wherever you have people, you will have those who twist and use the word of God for their own gain,
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
Today however, I am not addressing the full-blown false prophet, but the sincere brethren who may have been taught wrong, or who have listened to some of these false teachers and unknowingly agreed with their false teaching and come under the captivity of Satan.
The Apostle Paul in writing to the young pastor, Timothy, puts it this way…
2 Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2 1If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
It is important that we, as senior pastors; address, correct and protect our churches from every form of false doctrine, whenever… wherever… and by whomever is teaching it, without any partiality, gently correctly and exposing the satanic lies.
In recent meetings with a number of beloved Apostolic Pastors and Teachers within different Apostolic organizations, I have been shocked, angered, and grieved to hear some of the blatant false doctrines of the charismatic movement being taught, agreed upon and practiced within the Apostolic movement.
YouTube is making it easy to watch these false teachers and false prophets and without the correction and guiding hand of a Pastor to expose these false teaching, saints and untrained Pastors are being swallowed whole by false satanic doctrines.
As a minister of the Gospel, I can not in good conscience allow the teaching of false doctrine within my circle, so it must be addressed.
Here a list of false doctrines that I have been hearing within our Apostolic circles that must be exposed:
-
“Name if and Claim it.”
God is sovereign and when we go to him with our requests in prayer with thanksgiving, he can say; yes, no, wait, or anything he choses, he is not obligated to bow down to the person making the request or to fulfil that request. This doctrine usurps the sovereign and the will of God and is a fleshly act; naming and claiming like cars, houses, and other material possessions into their lives, is a form of gross covetousness, and idolatry, and it is evil!
-
“Speaking things into our Future.”
This barely disguised pagan, Hindu doctrine of visualization, deceives people into thinking they have creative power within their voice – and whatever they speak in faith, regardless of the will of God, will come to pass. No where in the bible are saints to use pagan practices to manipulate God. This is evil in the extreme and has no place in the body of Christ.
-
“Declaring and Decreeing”
Once again, this doctrine disguises itself a type of prayer, but it is not found anywhere in the bible, but rather makes saints into little demi-gods, usurping Gods authority and power, and presumes upon Gods will. It leaves no room for God to say yes, no or wait, but tries to manipulate God into obeying their fleshy and covetous commands, transforming themselves into lords and Christ into the slave…an evil that is absolutely insidious.
-
“Blaming the sick or disabled for a “lack of faith” or accusing them of sinning.”
You hear this false doctrine in such statements as – “God always heals,” or “If you are not healed it is because you have a lack of faith or have sinned,” these lies of the enemy produce incredible judgement, condemnation, and division,
The Lord addresses these satanic lies in the book of Job and again when he is asked by his disciples when discussing the disability of a gentleman who was blind,” Who sinned, this man or his parents?” Jesus’ answer is key-
John 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
Again. this doctrine leaves no room for the sovereign will of God in a person’s life; it leaves no room for the Lord to gently correct or to build character through suffering and pain.
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
The Apostle Paul has physical issues:
Galatians 4:13 As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you, 14 and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. 15 Where, then, is your blessing of me now? I can testify that, if you could have done so, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.
Timothy had physical issues:
1 Timothy 5:23(NLT) Don’t drink only water. You ought to drink a little wine for the sake of your stomach because you are sick so often.
Moses had a speech impediment.
Exodus 4:10 Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and [b]slow of tongue.”11 So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?
-
“Accepting the Lord as your Personal Savior.”
This unbiblical “salvation: method is not true repentance and gives the person practicing this a false sense of being “saved.” It does not teach the full gospel of Christ nor how we should properly respond to the gospel of Christ.
The Apostle Paul goes as far as to say that anyone changing the Gospel of Christ, adding to it, or taking away from it, is accused.
Galatians 1:6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert[a] the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
This is extremely serious, deceiving someone into thinking they are saved when they are not, is the deceptive work of Satan himself.
These teachers and preachers preaching “accepting the Lord as your personal savior”, and the other false doctrines must be exposed and those teaching them must be shown the errors within the false doctrines and given a chance to study the word of God, rejecting any and all doctrines that do not line up with the Word pf God.
Standing for truth is not always easy but the Lord looks for those who will worship him in spirit and in truth,
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Truth then is important, doctrine is important, and we need to love truth and obey it.
Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Amplified Bible Matthew 7:15
“Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves.Amplified Bible Jeremiah 5 30“An appalling and horrible thing [bringing desolation and destruction]Has come to pass in the land: 31The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule [c]on their own authority; And My people love [to have] it so! But what will you do when the end comes?
False Prophets Condemned Ezekiel 13
1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: ‘Hear the word of the Lord! 3 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish a prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! 4 Your prophets, Israel, are like jackals among ruins. 5 You have not gone up to the breaches in the wall to repair it for the people of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the Lord. 6 Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. Even though the Lord has not sent them, they say, “The Lord declares,” and expect him to fulfill their words. 7 Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, “The Lord declares,” though I have not spoken?
8“ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign Lord. 9My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.
10“ ‘Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, 11therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth. 12When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”
13“ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury. 14 I will tear down the wall you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it b falls, you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the Lord. 15 So I will pour out my wrath against the wall and against those who covered it with whitewash. I will say to you, “The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it, 16those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Sovereign Lord.” ’
17“Now, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them 18and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own? 19 You have profaned me among my people for a few handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.
20“ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free the people that you ensnare like birds. 21I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. Then you will know that I am the Lord. 22 Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives, 23 therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”
