Hosea 14;4 The LORD says, “Then I will heal you of your faithlessness; my love will know no bounds, for my anger will be gone forever.
As we continue in our series on boundaries, we are going to study the boundaries the Lord put in place as he brought the children of Israel out of Egypt slavery and boundage.
The creation of a new country from scratch is incredible to study because we see what the Lord sees as important.
What did he do when creating a society?
What did he feel the boundaries of society aught to be?
What boundaries did he put in place for individuals, for families, for the nation?
What boundaries were put in place for the spiritual, the emotional and the physical health of an individual?
What boundaries were in place for Spiritual protection from Satan, the world, religion?
We see the Lord outline all of this in the 613 laws given on Mount Sinai.
We see the deliverance from slavery as the Lord begins to create this new kingdom called Israel, and it gives us many clues to what the Lord feels is important in our lives.
Right from the deliverance from satanic, demonic worship of the Pharaoh and all the egyptian gods, for every plagues was to deliver Israel from religious bondage and the demonic worship of that “god”, the Lord is showing us what is spiritually healthy and what we should do to create healthy spiritual boundaries around us and our loved ones.
We see in that deliverance the principles of salvation.
Complete deliverance through the Blood, Water and Spirit
The Blood –
Ex . 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
The Water
Exodus 14:13-31
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever…
The Spirit
Ex. 14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: 20And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
We see this principle of salvation through, the blood the water, and the Spirit, all through the bible leading up to the cross and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Each element must be in place for complete deliverance from the kingdom of satan and his demonic “gods”.
After that deliverance we then see the Lord beginning to create this new society based on physical. emotional and spiritual freedom. Freedom based upon his deep love for Israel and their love for him.
As we know the Lord deeply desired to connect personally with the people, to show himself to them…
EX 20:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever.
10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, 11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
And here the Lord gave the children of Israel his 10 commandments, his statues, his law, he also gave to Moses the plan for worship with the tabernacle.
Each of the 613 commandments were built to protect, the children of Israel and even us his children to protect us from injury, from demons and false religions, from illnesses, from emotional pain and spiritual pain and the love that was build into each one speaks of the the care of a heavenly father that wants only the best for his children.
Deut 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
It is all built upon love, his love for Israel his love for us, and our love for him, for our neighbors and for ourselves, because love is the only motive that will give freedom from fear and it is love that leads to faith in God. which leads to believing in his great grace and mercy, which bring us to a powerful relationship and ultimately salvation from Satan, the world, ourselves, and completely delivers us from death, health and the grave.
It is all about love… if you miss that point you miss it all… because without the love factor the relationship becomes a relationship build on fear, and judgement and religious ritual, and the only destroys… it can destroy you, your marriage, and your family… even whole communities and nations.
The first boundary then, the overall boundary is the boundry of Love… that love has no boundaries…
We as the scripture says in Hosea
Hosea 14;4 The LORD says…. my love will know no bounds.
That Jude writes for us to keep ourselves in the love of God.
Jude 20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life.
For that love, is not just precious, that love is our victory, it is through that love we are made conquerors in all things.
It is through that love that we hold so dear, that creates the atmosphere to love others and love ourselves.
The enemy likes to say and lie that he can destroy that love that through pain, or abuse, or conflict, or some other new phyco-babble like someone is narcissistic, or a user, or he outright lies about the Lord… like God is a hater, or God is unfair or God is controlling… the lies are always over the top and if he can get you to believe just one of them he he will make that love fail…and you will lose out with god.
The problem with that, is that… it is a lie, the Word of God tells us something completely different…
Rom. 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Love NEVER FAILS!! Because God is Love.

1 Corinthians 13:
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [c]thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.8 Love never fails.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
