“There Are Many Others”: 215 Bodies Found at Canadian Residential School for Indigenous Children
Many of us have known about the atrocities but it was never spoken about – at least that is my personal experience.
The stories were spoken in hushed whispers if at all, and never openly.
BUT…now after much prayer and fasting the truth is coming to light.
Luke 8:17 KJV
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
We, as a church, have been so blessed since October to be part of a powerful prayer group.
This group of Apostolic leaders from across Canada and around the world are praying for Canada and especially for our Indigenous people and for the healing of our land, for reconciliation, hope and for continued salvation.
What many don’t know… is that many of the children removed by force from loving homes with parents and grandparents – these children were from Apostolic homes.
Their parents and grandparents were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost, making the residential schools not only a genocide based on ethnicity but also severe religious persecution by “organized religion” who felt threated by the Apostolic message of full salvation.
The prayer group naturally took for their scripture:
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We, as the people of the name – baptized in the beautiful name of the Lord Jesus Christ are so blessed to be in position to pray for Canada, to pray for the healing our land and nation, to pray for reconciliation and forgiveness and to grieve for our precious little brothers and sisters in Christ.

If you or your family are still suffering from the effects of oppression, the pain and the shame and would like to be prayed for please feel free to add your name and email to the prayer list below.
