Did you ever notice an eagle has two wings?
What would happen if he only had one?
Exactly… he couldn’t fly, he couldn’t soar.
Flight and being above situations in life involve being balanced.
When we get unbalanced it is like an eagle with one wing, everything becomes harder, more difficult and depression can soon set in.
Is. 40:28
Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become tired or grow weary;
There is no searching of His understanding.
29 He gives strength to the weary,
And to him who has no might He increases power.
30 Even youths grow weary and tired,
And vigorous young men stumble badly,
31 But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him]
Will gain new strength and renew their power;
They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun];
They will run and not become weary,
They will walk and not grow tired.

There is a lot of advice online about being tired, weary and burnt-out, recognizing the issue is important, but reevaluating and doing something about it is even more important.
-
Check your physical condition… are you getting enough sleep – the full 9 hours a night? If not, why not? Check your work schedule – are you working more than 8 hours a day?
-
Check your emotional condition, are you with people all day and not getting enough personal quiet time, or time to pamper yourself, a walk, a bubble bath, a shower.
-
Check your spiritual condition! How is your worship and your praise, when was the last time you went for a Holy Ghost run or a Holy Ghost dance? Check your Bible reading, quiet time and meditation.
Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
the work
מְלַאכְתּ֖וֹ (mə·laḵ·tōw)
Noun – feminine singular construct | third person masculine singular
Strong’s Hebrew 4399: 1) occupation, work, business 1a) occupation, business 1b) property 1c) work (something done or made) 1d) workmanship 1e) service, use 1f) public business 1f1) political 1f2) religious
Even God himself rested as an example to us all.
The maker of the universe, left us an example that we should follow in his steps, he also said if we were tired and weary to come to him for strength.
Physical, emotional and spiritual strength comes from worship, praise and joy, allowing the Lord to walk in you and through you, too much physical or mental work with without, praise, worship, prayer and meditation will always leave you tired and exhausted.
The Holy Ghost is a the fulfillment of the type of rest spoken of by the Lord, we cease from our own works and yield to the Lord working in us and through us.
So ask yourself, are you getting enough physical rest, if not what are you going to do to change that?
Are you getting enough emotional rest, doing something that encourages you without physical work.
And spiritual rest, are you resting in the Holy Ghost and allowing the Lords spirit to fill you with peace, joy, comfort, and are you worshipping him in spirit and in truth.
Heb. 4:9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Amplified Bible
Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
In this life it is so important to get above our trials and troubles, to begin to see them as the Lord sees them, to get the proper perspective on life, on work, on toil on earning a living, on money.
Nothing wears us out more than caring for stuff, or having too much or too many to care for.
Simplify, organize for revival, structure your life with peace in mind, structure your life for times of rest for times of soaring.
