The WHY and WONDER of Men’s Ministries
One might wonder how men’s ministry is any different from a woman’s ministry or for that matter, any kind of ministry.
Men’s Ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God’s man in Christ.
We know one thing for sure — God will use the heart and life of anyone who chooses to make himself available to Him. The Bible says, “Go and make disciples of all nations” This is the great commission spoken by Jesus Himself. In other words, Jesus Christ is commissioning His followers to go into the entire world and reproduce believers. This is a big calling.
This raises a question. How do we reproduce believers? Can a men’s ministry enable a man to better understand his calling in life and how to achieve it? Can a men’s ministry challenge a man to grow deeper in intellect, emotion, and spirit? The answer to these questions are a resounding yes!
Answering the call to mobilize Apostolic men – to motivate them to get their hands into the harvest – the Men’s Ministry of the United Pentecostal Church International, is striving daily:
- To link the many and myriad ministries to men across our fellowship
- To establish and communicate an attainable agenda for those efforts
- To develop and disseminate meaningful resources for men
In addition to building a world-wide brotherhood of believing men, this ministry is helping provide the venue in which men can bring their gifts to the kingdom table and make a tangible, timeless difference locally, as well as globally.
Having joined hands with both North American Missions and Global Missions endeavors, many capable, committed men are literally building the kingdom – by constructing houses of worship, Bible schools, and orphanages across North America and around the world.
And, beyond the brick and mortar, our Dominion Bible Study is enabling this fraternity of fathers and sons, husbands and brothers, to build the kingdom spiritually as well as physically – by leading other men into a life transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
