Power – it is what most people really seek in their lives.
Power to over come
Power to be what they want to be
Power in their marriages, and in relationships.
Power in their homes
Power in the work place
But society really looks down on those who are power hungry. There is an uncomfortable feeling around people who are always trying to position themselves.
But the power spoken about by the Lord in acts chapter 1 is a different type of power.
It is the spirit of Almighty God residing within you.

When a person chooses to love the Lord, chooses to live for the Lord and chooses to step from the kingdom of Satan into the kingdom of God by way of the Gospel.
Things change – as they repent of their sins, and are baptized in Jesus name into the kingdom of Christ and them receive that power- the gift of the Holy Ghost they become a totally different person, their station in life changes, they are no longer under the control of Satan, the World or even worldly governments.
They in fact become an ambassador of Jesus Christ- meaning their citizenship is now in heaven, they have a brand new identity, with sweeping powers of an ambassador.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.2 Corinthians 5
As our role as ambassador we are different than every other person in this world.
We dress different, we talk different, we act different.
Our power and authority is different.
An ambassador is described as…
am·bas·sa·dor/amˈbasədər/noun
an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country.“the French ambassador to Portugal”
a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity.“he is a good ambassador for the industry
Many of us live far below where we should, it is like we have received cheque for billions and keep it in our back pocket for emergencies.
It is time to spend the riches that we have received through the Holy Ghost and bless those around us, spend the anointing, spend the funds, it’s time to draw on that bank in heaven.
The Full Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Pray Continually
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Healings, miracles, signs wonders – ye shall receive power – the Holy Ghost has given us that power. Exercise it, use it, spend it !
Not to be in a position of power, for personal gain and glorification, but for the kingdom of God. That the name of Christ be glorified and uplifted and that the saints would be free from pain, suffering, illness, that they would be delivered from poverty, shame and oppression.
To pray on that armour and go into battle through prayer for ourselves, our loved ones, our friends and our communities. To see God’s kingdom come and God’s will be done here on earth. To see souls saved and delivered! Pour it out God…
Let that power enable us, strengthen us, to help us to witness, to pray, to anoint the sick, to see great deliverance. Pour it out Lord!!!!
